Amalie, there is ALWAYS room on my groaning (and ever growing) bookshelf for another Beethoven book! My trouble is finding the time to read them all! Very frustrating indeed! But I certainly enjoyed Lewis Lockwood's "Beethoven: The Music and the Life." so this looks like it should be another winner, thanks for the info!!
