    on this day

On this day 10th of august 1806 Joseph haydns younger brother Johann Michael dies in salzburg after various ilnesses he's buried on the cemetery of the saint peters Church.
He was born in rohrau,Austria and went to the boyschoir in the stephansdom aged 12 and received musical tutorage by his elderly brother.in 1757 he became the conductor of the choir of the archbisschop sigismund in grosswardein and in 1762 he became orchestra conductor and organist at the saint peters church at Salzburg.Haydn wrote in al the disciplines of those days but concentrated mainly on religious texts and the likes. He also wrote a lot but his music is overshadowed by that of his brother.
His marriage although happy as THAT one was *in comparison to joseph's which was Dreadfull* did not produce children.
The death of archbishop sigismund caused him too write his most famous work the requiem in C minor which was also perfomed on his brothers funeral.
