Classical Music program on PBS!
This Wednesday on PBS is going to be a special called "Keeping Score: Michael Tilson Thomas on Music". They mentioned Tchaikovsky's Fourth Symphony and Beethoven and company. I believe it's going to be a learning experience and he will explains "the language of classical music, and how it directly expresses how people feel and think". Tilson also says, "Making music come alive is a sacred thing for me.
Classical music looks unflinchingly at our thoughts, the way they are. Only in classical music do you go through a transformation of thought all the time and that's really the way our thoughts are, always changing."
