Symphony in g minor K 183 (173dB) "The Little g minor" - Sturm und Drang? Mozart? You bet!

After Beethoven's Grand Missa and a whole bunch of his Symphonies, It's going to be *chamberly* again tonight.
Beethoven's. Op.1/2, Op.11 & Op.17 transcribed by Carl Khym for String Quintet. Really nice indeed! It is the Metamorphosis Quintet and I breaked my rules I'm flexibly...

          P.,
Rules are meant to be broken, especially those that apply to music. Did not Beethoven say something like "I did it, therefore it must be right"? I know Amalie will come tell us exactly what it was, my fragile memory has deserted, yet the sentiment expressed remains.
And in that vein, I am listening to B, the Bagatelle in A for Fortepiano Andante cantabile - Op 119 #4 - on his own Broadwood - Andras Schiff. Ahhh...

Gossec symphonies, really delightful music from this extraordinary man who lived to be 95, the longest of all symphonists (1734-1829).

Also Eliot Gardiner's exhuberant Beethoven 4th.

Today, back to the roots with some Violin Concertos, right now: Paganini VC#1...that always makes a lot of fun! Also on my card today: Bach, Vivaldi, Bruch and at last, why not op.61, that beats everything!

Beethoven's 4th symphony, conducted by Karl Bohm. I love this piece!

I also can't go wrong with this: Rondo in A for Violin and Strings, D438 my first Schubert that I knew and in this sense something special for me. I'm too sentimental
And starting soon on TV: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Mass in C KV 427 I turn it up!

On this Penticostal Sunday I am watching a performance of Mozart's "Great Mass in C minor, K.427" from a concerthall in Baden-Baden, Germany. I especially love the "Kyrie" from this mass.

It is Sunday AM, thus to celebrate! Today, it will be the Symphony in d minor - Op 125 of Beethoven. Perfect, I think, for a Sunday. And this time it is the Vienna Philharmonic / Bernstein.

On this sunny Sunday morning it is JS Bach's Orchestral Suites 2 and 3. Music to make your spirits rise.

The probably greatest Symphony, but this time transcribed for Piano by Franz Liszt.
