Ah! Schubert, What a spirt picker-upper.
I am basking in the music to "Rosamunde" (complete). What music this man poured out. Truly a master of melody.

But not this morning, now, is the Concerto in C majo for Fortepiano & Orchestra - #1 - Op 15 - LvB. Robert Levin and the Orchestre Revolutionaire et Romantique / Gardiner. Just like Beethoven heard it?? Probably not, but still very nice for me!

Starting the day of right, I am listening to the Dvorak Symphony No. 7 in D minor Op. 70
I can hear why Brahms like Dvorak's music so much. His music can really touch the soul.

Well, a veritable Schubertiad here lately! For me, it is the Moments Musicaux D 780, right now #5 in f minor, Mitsuko Uchida. Marvellous little bagatelles!

Not I would like to break the Schubert chain, it will be a later part of my day...
Beethoven's 31/3. I remarked, this Sonata is mostly not called as 'The Hunt', at least I have no recording, which contains this name.
I admit, it's probably not the Hunt, but it's pretty hunty. (I'm foreign. 'jaegery' I may talk like this...)

Well, no Schubert for me either. Op 31 #3, well, can it be called "Hunt" for any reason than that it sounds "jaeger-y"! Can't think of any, although it is not a specific thing. But for me, it is again the Concerto in D, but this time the violin has retired to the rest area and the piano has taken his place. Still, a great piece of work, well done, Louis.

And no Rheinberger either. But I do have the Rondo in Bb for Fortepiano & Orchestra - WoO 6 by LvB. Robert Levin does a very nice job on the fortepiano here, and the Gardiner band are good to accompany. I wonder why this movement was rejected for the concerto (#2), it is quite a nice thing. ?!?

This gray morning it is Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 24 K491. He really shows his genius in the concertos.
