Beethoven's Lock of Hair-correction JOY

I am sorry to tell you Joy but I e-mailed the Smithsonian AND the San Jose site and asked if that lock of B's hair was going to the Smithsonian. Dr. Meredith wrote back that it WAS NOT but that it was in the PLANNING stage to put it in the Library of Science. So---it will be in San Jose for some time to come!( And I will be on the EAST coast for some time to come.)
