is this piece a sad one , or not ?
what do you feel ?
I sense a certain feeling of yearning when listening to this piece. I'm trying to learn it on the piano and it's great to play when you're feeling down.
thank you for your sharing
When I was playing this piece, I felt such sadness and loneliness from the music,
The music sounds like wandering in the valley , looking for something but unfound.
That was my feeling , my question , there is no true or false. I just ask what people feel ? not F Chopin.

I visited Chopin's grave at Pere lachaise and his last address in the Place Vendome whilst in Paris at the weekend - yes much of Chopin's music has the qualities you describe.
