    Pastorali,
No clunker indeed! In fact you have given me the idea to do the same, thank you very much. But right now is the Quartet in Bb K 458, dedicated to Haydn but sounding like no one but Mozart.
I am sorry that I cannot also be in a street cafe, but alas no, it is work for me. No cafe, not really much of a street either! So it goes.

One of my favourites of Tchaikovsky's! Beautfiul indeed!

Another favourite of mine of Mazart's. For me on this sunny and warm morning going off to work it's Beethoven's Horn Sonata in F Op 17 with Horn Solist David Pyatt, and Soloist Martin Jones, piano. You don't hear this one very often.

From Handel's Theodora"He saw the lovely Youth"

Morrell writes of Handel "I once asked him, whether he did not look upon the Grand Chorus in The Messiah as his Masterpiece?
'No' says he 'I think the Chorus at the end of the second part in Theodora far beyond it.'

Back home! With a better sound than there - fortunately it hasn't killed me!

I'm still like a moon – revolving round Jupiter. nice circles....

Well, and good morning with Mozart then! That quite unusual little trio in Eb for Piano, Clarinet & Viola - K 498. Such a little oddity that one, but so pleasant to listen to.

Yes, it was! Still these two wonderful Symphonies... and I think also for the next some days.

                    Pastorali,
Can't go wrong there. Oddly, right now I am listening to the 32nd and final Violin sonata, which is in F - K 547, and it was written only a week or two before the first of those 2 great symphonies, the g minor. Totally different character, so lighthearted and lyrical. Certainly an unusual man, that Wolfgang!

Really unusual, that Amadeus indeed! Because that it is now Serenade KV 361 'Gran Partita'.
13 Wind Instruments and 7 mvmnts good fun.

Oh, you are starting to pick up my bad habits, my friend!
But I have switched to Haydn now, it is the Symphony in c minor #95. Always a rare treat to hear Haydn composing in the minor mode!

That's funny Gurn! It's not three hours ago, I've listened on radio to the first mvmnt of Haydn's #95. The world is pretty small, isn't it?

For me, back to Beethoven and the Pastorale Symphony. Will take a seat on the balcony with my walky right now. Smelling springtime...

After the Maestro's #6, #1 & #2 Symphonies, I'm looking now for Frau Haebeler, yawn zz zz

I was listening to Haydn myself today, his "Farewell " symphony and began to hear a whole underlayer of music in the bass
that I had never heard before,I followed my ears to the laundry room where I had left the Bach WTC on.Dear me,I must be getting forgetful in my old age.
