Symphony No 3 The best?
I have often wondered which performance/recording of the 20th century is considered the "definative" interpretation of this most wonderful of works? Any thoughts?

I have about 11 recordings of the 3rd, among them are some I love. I love everything period (if its well played
), so Gardiner's, Hogwood's and the astounding Savaal's recordings are superb, also the Karajan on the Karajan Gold Edition by DG is also really good, and is my favourite on modern performances.
