    Beethoven Sonata collection

    Hi -

A friend gave me two old collections of the Beethoven Sonatas. The volumes were printed in Italy - Copyright is MCMXIX by G. Ricordi & Co.

I'm just trying to find out if these might be of any significance to a collector. They are very legible and generally in good condition.

    Thanks, Pat

I don't think there would be much value in this, other than the great musical one. I mean, being it Ricordi, not Artaria, Breitkopf & Härtel or even Diabelli, there is not much historical interest to it, since it's quite surely to be re-edited by Ricordi (and not that old, 1919 is even younger than some Debussy I've seen prior to 1902)
