    I'm in for a treat!.
My friend has just e-mailed me to say she has two tickets for us to go to the first night of Mozart's Magic Flute at the English National Opera this thursday.

    Wunderbar!

Yes should be great and very topical with the Mozart programmes starting the next day.

I just bought the complete Piano Concerti of Beethoven with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Solti, with Ashkenazy as soloist. It also includes the Op. 126 Bagatells and the 'Fur Elise'.

I am starting with the 4th concerto (my favorite)

        ...just wonderful!

The Symphony in C major - #9 D 944 - Franz Schubert - Hanover Band / Roy Goodman. Great music, great performance, can't beat that!
