Peter, thanks for this story. As I mentioned last year, my local classical station WQXR plays works by Salieri on a fairly regular basis, including opera overtures. If these overtures are any guide, this composer is well worth getting to know. I'm glad to see a singer of Bartoli's stature taking up his cause.

Interesting. My classical radio also plays quite a bit of Salieri. Good to know someone is having such success with this.

I'm glad to see that Salieri's music is being recorded and his music kept alive. I'll have to add this CD to my Salieri collection. Thank you Cecilia Bartoli for this recording. Bravo!
