Ninth Symphony question
Is the Ninth Symphony to be considered a continuation of Beethoven's middle 'Heroic' period, or part of his late period style?
Or both?

From what I have read and videos I have seen they mostly mention the 9th Symphony with his late period along with his last string quartets and his Missa Solemnis. Although some may disagree and that's all right this information is just from several books that I have read.
