Schubert and beethoven lived at the same time. Scubert died a year later then beethoven. And schubert would often sit in the same resturant as beethoven wathing and lisening to the great master in vienna.

So Beethoven had made a great impression on schubert. His music was shown to beethoven just before Beethoven died. He was im\npressed as well.
