Yes I know what you mean Joy,
I am afraid I am guilty of that myself, just popping a letter in with a card.
To think that romantics used to walk miles to a post office to post their letters, before the days of a post boxes.
And now a message only takes minutes by e-mail to go accross the world - not quite so 'romantic' - though it is very convenient, but we seem to have lost some of the romance by confusing the medium with the message.
