Beethoven's Biggest Contribution?
Hello all. I'm doing a report for school on how Beethoven (my favorite) made the biggest contribution to classical music. What makes him the greatest classical composer of all time?

In its strictest sense the term 'classical music' refers to music of the period c.1750-1830 and its greatest exponents were Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert. Beethoven expanded the classical forms to their limits and in his late music explored a spiritual dimension few composers have approached.
