Beethoven melody? sketch for a dance for piano in c-minor (1799)

Based on a nice Beethoven melody sketch (16 bars) for a dance for piano in c-minor (1799) the last 2 days I wrote this little "Bagatelle" in the form of alittle Scherzo:

I hope you will like that ...

Very nice Gerd, but are you intending a realisation as you feel Beethoven might have completed it? If so, I'm not convinced by the left hand in the major key section and probably Beethoven wouldn't have gone quite so high in the register at that date? If your intention is simply to create a piece based on that material, very enjoyable little piece!

Peter, what is the problem with the left hand of the Trio? Do you refer to the first or second part of the Trio ? I actually like it pretty much...

I'm particularly thinking of bar 58 - the harmony is a little odd for the period?
