I am just enjoying the Diabelli Variations - not just those from Beethoven, but also from other 50 composers of that time which gives us a vivid impression of that great age:

Yes just the names at the beginning are a who's who of many great musicians of the time. The 11 year old Liszt must have been included on the recommendation of Czerny.
