    the best of beethoven

    1- symphony no.5 ( allegro con brio )
    2- sonata for piano no.14 in c sharp minor (moonlight)
    3- sonata for piano no.8 in c minor op.13 (pathetique)
    4- symphony no.9
    5- sonata no.32 in c minor op.111 (appassionato)
    6- sonata for piano no.17 in d minor op.31 no.2 (tempest)
    7- piano concerto no.3 in c minor op.37 (rondo , allegro
    8- violin romance
    9- symphony no.5
    10- sonata for piano no.15 in d major op.28 (pastoral)

    and that dont mean the other works is not good . i think all beethoven works is the best of the best of the best of works .

    You forgot the string quartets and the overtures! (Among other great works!)

      Yes, I suspect that since one can easily divide up 10 categories, that one should then choose one from each category in order to make the list. Then, the order of the works in the list shall indicate you estimation of the relative greatness of the works. Or not.

          Hi. I thought the Appassionata was the F minor sonata op.57. That was just a note.

          And of course we mustn't forget the late string quartets and the 7th symphony (in my opinion).
