    Other types of music

    Do you enjoy other types of music rather than classical....for me new age music was an interest one day ..I'm planning to listen to some Jazz music ..so if you are interested in jazz would you please advise me with some of the famous jazz pianists..

    Traditional jazz (1920s): Jelly Roll Morton, Earl Hines, James P. Johnson

    Swing (1930s, 1940s): Teddy Wilson, Fats Waller, Art Tatum, Count Basie

    Boogie-Woogie (1930s, 1940s): Meade Lux Lewis, Albert Ammons, Pete Johnson

    Modern jazz: Bud Powell, Bill Evans, Thelonius Monk, Herbie Hancock, Dave Brubeck

                Strangely enough i am into Japanese anime music and video game music.
                I watched inmortal beloved the other night and i learnt this. A time traveling beethoven was framed and set up for killing JFK.

                  Uh, Chaszz--you neglected Duke Ellington (swing) and Chick Corea (modern)! The Duke also wrote some "serious" music that incorporated jazz elements.
