From Rinaldo by Handel "Sul tuo volto le grazie vezzosette."
Say Suzie, give use the low down on Fidelio.
Seattle is a great place for the opera I saw Peter Grimes there years and years ago,Chaszz
might be intrested to know that they do a lot of (and apparently a fine job of)Wagner's Operas

Sibelius' Night Ride and Sunrise, Scottish NO, Alexander Gibson. I can do without the Night Ride, but the Sunrise is very moving! I heard this on the radio a week or two ago, and ordered it. Reminds me of the sunrise in Richard Strauss' An Alpine Symphony, another great one.

[B] I think we have the same CD, is it coupled with the German Dances by Neville Marriner/ASMF? I listen to it a lot while i drive as well, King Stephen is very good to listen to in heavy traffic! I like this CD, although i have to say that i prefer Norrington/LCP's versions of Coriolan & Egmont.
Poseidan,
The particular CD I have is just purely the Overtures and not coupled with the German Dances.
I also have, By my favourite Berlin Philharmonic, Egmont and Leonora no.3
On a separate CD I also have by the Berlin Philharmonic, the wonderful heaven storming Symphony No.9, conducted by Herbert von Karajan.
p.s. I travel to and from work by train.
